Lubbock Cup 2010 - 1st Leg On Sunday April 18th, High Elms sent a team to Chelsfield Lake to take part in the Lubbock Cup. This is an annual event played to commemorate the Lubbock family who donated the land on which High Elms Golf course sits, to the people of Bromley. It is played on a home and away basis. Each team is made up of 6 pairs playing 4 ball better ball matchplay. The winner is the club with the best aggregate score over the 2 legs. High Elms currently hold the trophy. The High Elms team arrived at Chelsfield in high spirits on a gloriously sunny day. Unfortunately, High Elms came up against an inspired Chelsfield team. The Chelsfield team played some fantastic golf and the team as a whole produced around 15 birdies and an eagle. Against such quality golf, High Elms did well to come away with 1 win and a half. The second leg is to due to be played 18th July The team and their results on the day are as follows :-
