Newsletter - June 2010 In the Daily Mail Foursomes, Doreen Shaw and Dorothy Featherstone failed to progress any further having lost 5&3 away to Westerham in the third round. n the Kent competition, the mixed foursomes Captains’ Cup, the team of Chris Watmough & Andy Brzozowski plus Doreen Shaw & Trevor Glaum defeated Rochester & Cobham away and now face Sundridge Park in the next round, also away, but in the individual Three Feathers competition, there were losses for Jean Dignam, Doreen Shaw and Dawn Bell in the third round of their respective divisions. All club competition results are now posted on the HowDidIDo website (www.howdidido.co.uk), as are the updated handicaps which show both Active and Inactive handicaps. Remember you must have an Active handicap to win a Club competition, although you can play in order to make your handicap Active (you need to submit 3 cards to do that).
