Michael apologised for the lack of progress on some items but said that the long spell of very cold weather had inhibited progress.
- 15th: move greenside bunker. It had been decided not to proceed with this.
- 15th & 16th: Provision of plastic grids to stop slipping in wet weather. Still outstanding.
Replace mirror on road crossing from 18th to Clubhouse. Still outstanding.
- Winter mats installed and brought into use. The mats had been well received but the delay in tidying up the surrounds was criticised. Michael said this was because grass would not grow during the cold weather but work would commence shortly to finish off the mats level with the surrounding area. The mats would then be removed, cleaned and stored ready for next season.
- New ball washers had been installed. Chris asked for ball washers to be provided on some winter tees.
- The provision of a ladies toilet was not practical, especially in view of the vandalism, which could be expected.
- 1st hole. Old bunker LHS of fairway to be tidied up
- 3rd hole. Steps to the tees to be swept.
- 4th hole. Move Ladies tee marker to new position. Ensure OOB markers are in place and properly maintained. Allow some rough before reaching OOB.
- 8th hole. Secure bench.
- 10th hole. Reconstruct the bunkers in front of the green to be shallower but with sloping grass area to the green.
- 12th. Fairway to be narrowed on LHS. “Run off” area of about 2m semi rough to be left.
- 13th hole. OOB markers to be replaced as necessary. On RHS trees to be used as markers at some points and “run off” area to be left. It was noted that the use of this part of the hole being used by buggies coming from the 12th exacerbated the position and Michael was asked to pursue as soon as possible the direct route from the 12th to 13th.
- 14th hole. The problems arising from the plantation area RHS of the 14th were discussed but no further action is proposed. The “bell” will be modified so that the striker is in a position safely accessible to all.
- 15th hole. Area under tree by the green to be tidied up and plastic grids to be provided as necessary.
- 18th hole. Greenside bunkers to be rebuilt when the design used on the 10th is agreed.
- Brushes for shoe cleaning to be renewed.
